We here at Seven Pets Software have been busy since the first release of The Home Theater Automated Ticket Maker program. This new version is much more complete with many new features. They include:
- A Second ticket style that features a poster or DVD image
- Export to Image. Support GIF and PNG. PNG only for transparent images.
- Printing improved. Now can print 8 tickets per page.
- Added program preferences. This version contains two preferences. They are “Home Theater Name” and “Production Name”. After these values are set, new tickets will pre-fill those fields on the ticket.
- Integration with themoviedb.org. With this capability the program gives users a simple way to download and add movies posters and backdrops to their tickets.
- A new online help page that can be loaded from the Help menu. The page is the documentation for the program and is a work in progress.
- All date oriented fields can be edited and set with just one date chooser UI component.
- Windows now has it’s own installer that is an executable file. It’s supposed to elevate permissions so perhaps it will fix the install issues some have been having.
You still need the latest Java 6 to install and run the program. You can get the install programs and source code on our download page.
